At the ball

What a good-looking couple. This is Dale and I at the Kansas African-American Museum's Live History Ball on July 6 at the Marriott. I had to buy a 'formal' gown and decided on this cocktail dress that included instructions saying no one over 50 could wear it. Thank god I have six more months before that happens.

Do you think the strength-training is paying off? Yeah, me neither.

Anyway, as always, when we take photos of us at parties, there is red wine within arm's-length distance. Thanks to it, we had a pretty good time.

Can't wait for the next party, mostly so I can go dress-shopping again. Anyone out there need a smashing size 12 gown to wear to a party? Call me.
