Props to Ashley
This is my niece (and god-daughter) Ashley with her family. I want to give her a shout-out for an amazing feat. Last Saturday she ran a half-marathon in Kansas City, with an average pace of 9:55 a mile. She loves running and it gives her much-deserved "me" time for training. Now she's looking for other half-marathons (and soon, full marathons) to run in her area. I'm very proud of her. Oh, and her family consists of husband Kyle and kiddos Hudson, 1, and Harper, 2. Way to go Ashley. Wish I could have been there to see it.

i think we're going to GB for thanksgiving. it would be great to see you. one more thing: it sucks that there are so few photos of you out of the THOUSANDS that you take of your family and post on your blog. give that camera to kyle every once in awhile!
i know it...i'm a camera hog, though, I love to take them! BUT, you're right...I need to hand Kyle the camera once or twice!
but seriously, you're a good photographer. it shows that you enjoy taking them.
