Dog gone
I'm happy to report -- and Barney concurs -- that we found the owner of the stray dog that came into our lives Thursday. The owner, who lives just one block away from us, heard our report on KFDI and was able to identify the dog as his. The little miniature schnauzer, named Sammy, went home at noon today. Contrary to my belief that he might be a puppy, he is actually 12 years young. His friskiness put Barney, who is 5, to shame.

Is he a full blooded schnauzer? He looks... different. But CUTE! Barney will get used to him. And would love the company. Don't decide prematurely.
That was my first thought... that he is a schnauzer mix. Regardless, he is really cute. He still has a puppy face, so I don't think he's very old.
I was going to say something here, but I'd hate for dog to see it. He might be offended.
