Team festivities

As has become our tradition, the features team had its Christmas luncheon today at the beautifully decorated home of Bonnie Bing. It was cold and damp outside, but inside we had delicious soup, bread, cheese and crackers, wine and for dessert, cheesecake.

In the next room, at the "kids' table," Denise, Joe, Lori B. and Megan enjoy their soup.

After lunch, we exchange gifts in the living room and talk about how we're going to keep drinking wine throughout the afternoon and never go back to work. And yet we never do that. Here, Denise receives her gift from Chris, who drew her name.

Our fall intern, Megan, got a cool coffee holder/thermos from Lori B.
Suzanne got a heartfelt and meaningful gift from Joe, who forgot whose name he had drawn. So we had to do a process of elimination to deduce that it was Suzanne.
