Chamber of secrets
We went to the Wichita Chamber of Commerce dinner tonight. Notice the wintry decor of balloon arches and snowflake shadows ? Actually, it was kind of pretty. The speaker was former Bush press secretary Tony Snow. But first there was a delicious dinner of filet mignon, mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, salad and dinner rolls, and wine!
Here is Dale and Greg Clay, the intern in the city manager's office and a KU student in public administration.

Our dinner partners were United Way director Pat Hanrahan and his wife, Rene.

Another shot of the winter decorations...

The decorations and menu sound impressive. I've heard the speech was otherwise, however. No photos of you in your glam getup?
